Wow!!! what an impressive project. As we drove down to the dam the construction on the new bridge is almost as impressive as the damn. What a great experience to see this amazing man made project and take the tour to see the inside of the dam. Very impressive. Ethan wrote in his journal tonight, "Today we went to the Hoover Dam. When we were up high looking down into the dam my mom was scared." We then drove north through a sliver of Arizona and then into Utah where we are staying in Washington, UT just outside of Zion National Park, which is on the itinerary for tommorow. We had a nice relaxing night at the hotel with a great pool and we all went for a nice long swim. Headed out now to find dinner. As we drove out from Vegas today Darcy and I remembered our trip 22 years ago on our honeymoon following the same rte 15 north up to Zion. What a beautiful part of this great country.
